01 / OVERVIEW

Improving existing digital experiences through thoughtful maintenance and refinement.

My website management work at Kimball International involves maintaining and improving an established enterprise storefront. This includes restructuring existing content, updating product information, troubleshooting interactive functionality, and creating new landing pages and content components.

I work primarily within Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager and Page Designer, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON to support accurate content presentation and reliable user experiences.

02 / PROJECT HIGHLIGHT — RECLINER COMPARISON

Maintaining and expanding an existing product comparison experience.

The Recliner Comparison page allows users to compare product specifications and available options across multiple recliner models.

My work focused on maintaining and updating this existing experience, including incorporating additional products, revising specification fields, and troubleshooting inconsistencies between configured product data and the displayed interface.

Technical contributions

  • Updated structured JSON product configuration used by the comparison tool
  • Reviewed JavaScript functionality responsible for mapping product values into HTML elements
  • Troubleshot missing or incorrect specification fields, product selections, and displayed pricing
  • Updated Page Designer content to support revised comparison categories and terminology

03 / PROJECT HIGHLIGHT — POD COMPARISON

Restructuring an existing comparison page for a clearer, more consistent experience.

The Pod Comparison page provides side-by-side information to help visitors evaluate different workplace pod configurations.

I reworked the existing page structure to align more closely with the Recliner Comparison experience, improving visual consistency, content organization, and readability while preserving the original product descriptions and comparison functionality.

Technical contributions

  • Reorganized existing Page Designer HTML components
  • Refined the comparison layout and presentation of product information
  • Worked with existing JSON product configuration and JavaScript-driven content behavior
  • Preserved original product descriptions while updating the surrounding interface

04 / ONGOING WEBSITE MANAGEMENT

Supporting the day-to-day evolution of an enterprise website.

Alongside targeted interface improvements, I manage ongoing website updates that help maintain accurate content and support changing business needs.

  • Creating and updating landing pages using Salesforce Commerce Cloud Page Designer
  • Adding, updating, and removing product content and associated website pages
  • Maintaining content assets, links, downloads, and product resources
  • Troubleshooting layout, image presentation, and content visibility issues
  • Coordinating website content changes with existing storefront functionality

05 / PROJECT HIGHLIGHT — SUSTAINABILITY DOCUMENTS

Making sustainability resources easier to find and navigate.

Searchable Sustainability Overview Documents table with document sorting, PDF links, and pagination

To improve access to product sustainability resources, I developed a structured document table within Page Designer using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

The component provides a searchable list of sustainability overview documents, with alphabetical sorting, pagination, and direct PDF links.

Key functionality

  • Keyword search across document titles
  • Sortable document-name column
  • Pagination displaying 15 documents per page
  • Responsive table styling designed to remain within the Page Designer container
  • Consistent document labels and PDF links

06 / TECHNICAL SKILLS IN PRACTICE

Understanding how content and functionality work together.

Maintaining interactive website components requires more than editing visible content. For the comparison tools, JSON stores structured product information, JavaScript processes that information, and HTML provides the elements where product details appear.

Understanding these relationships allows me to diagnose incorrect values, update existing content mappings, and maintain functionality while refining page presentation.
